Samsara

Samsara

This movie is the perfect example of life, time and location being represented as art, and something that can be shown naturally but in a beautiful way. Although the locations appeared random, there was some fluency to the movie, as each subject linked with the next one. This shows, even though we are from different cultures and live in different time, the world is connected.

It almost immerses you in this world that not everyone knows it exists. Not only do it allow you to appreciate world traditions and cultural different, it shows us a much bigger picture and that there is so much more out there. In terms of time, certain elements of time are shown throughout this film. Even though time to us is linear, it can be manipulated, especially in film. It can be condensed and sped up (for example this is shown by the time lapse).
